Champion Experience Manager
Description
The Champions Experience Manager (CEM) plays a key role in the building and supporting our Champions community. Champions are professionals who volunteer to support the development of the young people we work with at SPEAKHIRE. The CEM oversees Champions Relations Associates to build and support our community of professionals, through the outreach process all the way through to training and continued support. The CEM also plays a key role in the continued development of SPEAKHIRE programs.
Qualifications
Minimum of a BA, MA preferred, in a relevant area
Experience supporting and training adults required
2 years of experience in a recruitment and manager role preferred
Start-up and nonprofit experience a plus
Extremely effective communication skills
Experience growing, training, and supporting a network, identifying key areas of development to sustain Champions community
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for SPEAKHIRE’s mission and growing SPEAKHIRE
Highly organized and self-motivated
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail, handle interruptions, maintain focus on tasks and produce accurate work in a fast-paced environment and under deadline pressure.
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
